Speed is only half the story

Video streaming, video calls and online games do not run over plain downloads. They use UDP-based transports such as QUIC (HTTP/3), WebRTC and RTP, where latency and packet loss matter as much as raw Mbps.

Real-time transport

UDP skips the retransmission delays of TCP, which keeps live video and voice smooth. That is why the Streaming test above connects over QUIC on UDP port 443 instead of a classic HTTP download.

Quality you can see

The Streaming test plays an adaptive-bitrate ladder from 240p to 4K and reports startup time, the highest stable quality, buffering events and UDP packet loss. You can run it for anywhere from 1 to 60 minutes.
